Mission
To provide consistent and innovative training and development programs for conservation professionals, employees, and supervisors throughout North Carolina. By leveraging collaborative partnerships, mentorship, and a curriculum tailored to technical and leadership growth, the initiative will ensure the delivery of impactful, relevant, and applied learning.
Training Support Staff
Brandy Myers is the Training Program Coordinator for the NCDA&CS- Division of Soil and Water Conservation is dedicated to the success of district staff across the state. She is passionate about teaching leadership skills and loves teaching her kittens new tricks.
Josh Vetter, is the Environmental Section Chief for the NCDA&CS- Division of Soil and Water Conservation and serves in the development of training materials that support certification, conservation planning, and overall professional growth. Josh enjoys family time by playing board games and appreciating nature.


Technical Training Committee
In alignment with the Division’s training program objectives, we have formulated a training committee with conservation district staff serving from each of the eight areas in North Carolina. Committee members identify training needs and opportunities in their area, as well as potential host districts and mentors for various programs. If you have any ideas or feedback, we encourage you to reach out to your area representative!
