Created by the North Carolina USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Ecological Sciences Section (ECS) to serve as a Basemap for the collection and display of Special Environmental Concerns (SECs) and other relevant natural resources data in the form of geospatial information. The APE Analysis WebTool is a decision-support tool intended to be used by natural resource professionals to assist with pre-planning, early-scoping, and routine environmental analysis activities in support of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
