This session introduces Districts to the various riparian buffer rules which have been implemented across the state. A brief background to the nutrient strategies, an overview of the permit process for variance requests and buffer mitigation, and a discussion on the buffer rules, allowable activity within a riparian zone, and how to determine compliance with the rules is covered.
